1. Overview
Langga does not sell mouthguards directly to patients through this Website, and we do not operate an online checkout. Here is how a Langga mouthguard order actually works: you visit a Langga-certified clinic, where a dentist carries out an intraoral scan and manages your fitting appointment; the clinic shares your scan with Langga; Langga manufactures your custom mouthguard and delivers it to the clinic; and the clinic invoices you (the patient) directly for its own fees, while separately, Langga invoices the clinic for the mouthguard. Because of this structure, this Policy has two parts: one for patients, and one for our Langga-certified clinics.
2. For Patients: Refunds for Fees You Paid to a Clinic
Any fee, deposit, or payment you make in connection with your consultation, scan, or fitting appointment is an arrangement between you and your Langga-certified clinic, made under that clinic's own payment and refund terms. Langga is not a party to that arrangement and cannot issue a refund of clinic fees. If you wish to cancel your treatment or request a refund of amounts you have paid, please contact your clinic directly.
3. For Langga-Certified Clinics: Order Cancellation
We understand that a patient may decide to discontinue treatment after a scan has been submitted. Whether a clinic can cancel the order with Langga at no charge depends on whether manufacturing has started:
• Before production begins: If you notify us before we have begun manufacturing your patient's mouthguard, we will cancel the order at no charge.
• After production begins: Once manufacturing has started — materials have been committed and production is underway — the order is final. The full invoiced amount remains payable by the clinic, regardless of whether the patient continues with, delays, or discontinues their own treatment, and regardless of how much the clinic has itself collected from the patient.
We recommend each clinic set its own patient-facing deposit or payment terms with this cutoff in mind, so patients understand the point at which their commitment becomes non-refundable.
4. Manufacturing Defects
If a mouthguard is found to have a manufacturing defect on delivery (as opposed to a fit issue, which should be raised with the treating dentist), please contact us as soon as possible with your order/invoice reference and details of the issue. We will review each report individually and, at our discretion, may offer a remake, repair, or credit. This is assessed case by case and is not a guaranteed entitlement.
5. What Is Not Covered
We are not able to offer a refund or credit for: mouthguards affected by an inaccurate or incomplete scan/impression provided at the clinic; a patient's failure to attend a scheduled fitting appointment; normal wear and tear; or damage occurring after delivery to the clinic.
6. Consumer Protection
Nothing in this Policy limits any guarantee or right that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or other applicable Malaysian law.
